General

• Refined project idea. 1h

• Investigated Villanova intellectual property policy board (unsuccessfully). 1h

Wednesday

• Attended class.

• Decided on solo project.

• Created scienceninja subdomain, installed TikiWiki, configured TikiWiki, created awful logo. Wrote wiki pages on project; blog entries; calendar; FAQs; and much, much, more! 5h

Thursday

• 2 chunks. 0.5h

Friday

• Attended Mendel Medal lecture, which was awesome.

Saturday

• Configuration of project site; begin work with subversion. 2h

Sunday

• Configure PuTTY and Pageant to work with this server using SSL. Configure SSL access to unix cluster. Create subversion repository here. Install and configure SVN on local machine. Install and configure Tortoise for SVN access locally through shell. 2h
• Located and reviewed previous work from csc4700 on requirements document. Reviewed technical writing and requirements doc structure. 0.75h
• Preliminary investigation of Flash and Adobe AIR. Is AIR a good idea here? Use an IDE, or the Flash development tool? Does it have good/any SVN capabilities? 0.5h
• Updating site. 1h
